At Jessi's House Fort Smith, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive shelter for LGBTQ+ youth ages 18-24 who are experiencing homelessness. We are committed to offering a welcoming environment where individuals can find stability, support, and community.
Our goal is to be a safe space and community hub for LGBTQ+ youth, offering a place to connect, grow, and thrive. We understand that the reasons for homelessness can vary – including challenges such as family rejection or domestic violence – and we are here to support young adults no matter their journey.
We are dedicated to empowering our residents through life skills training, job placement assistance, health insurance enrollment, and educational opportunities. By fostering personal growth and self-sufficiency, we help young adults build the skills they need to lead independent, fulfilling lives.
Through advocacy, outreach, and comprehensive case management, we aim to create a strong, resilient community where LGBTQ+ youth are celebrated and supported. Jessi’s House Fort Smith is more than just a shelter – it’s a place to be yourself, find support, and discover your path forward.
